1.
Unravelled 04:34
take my arms away take my legs away take all thoughts away and hold me just this way bleed you from my veins and hang me just this way
2.
Wax 02:37
merging patterns blur my thoughts as I rest my legs against the wall my eyes are yawning, dreaming sleep I watch the ceiling take on shapes where tiles join it looks like words letters forming in the dark while outside issues cloud my views and every time I move I'm falling off the earth taking different shapes every time I move
3.
I'm losing daydream flowers to darker hours that steal all of their power still they're always all mine daylight seems like water turned on to start daydream showers until nighttime makes their sweet taste seem so sour
4.
My Manacles 03:53
holding so tightly to someone else's hands sifting so slowly through someone else's sand shifting and slipping hoping to understand soaking, I'm learning to take my own commands let go of my hands twisting and pulling on someone else's hands crashing and spilling on someone else's sand spinning and landing hoping to understand listening intently to my own demands
5.
Cat's Paw 03:02
when I was a boy I would die pretend I was above the sky looking down and catching the eyes of the faces I recognized but now I concede that I can't be seen out in the breeze now I know I never will be anywhere but under the green feeding the flowers for the bees swaying softly between the trees
6.
Empire 02:57
standing in the courtyard petals at my feet I feel the sun on my neck as it stretches through the trees structures stabilize while segments sway a moment sterilized before decay laughter in the courtyard darkens like disease columns crack and crumble as they spill into the streets segments stabilize while structures sway a moment sterilized beyond decay
7.
Fuelcloud 03:52
from my window I watch the airplanes fly over houses row after row after row until they vanish in their fuelclouds above freeways glazing skylines in the bright morning light from my window I watch the train tracks bend in the distance mile after mile after mile I stained my windows to match the colors of what I see so anyone can see a world that's stained like me and that's disappearing and reappearing in the bright morning light
8.
Coil-Re-Coil 04:57
I place myself among my shells the silence soothes me in that space I try to make out shapes just to taste the thoughts that are resting back there behind my eyes the days all fold into one as the delicate sceneries stretch out before me with images magnified and bright behind my eyes threads extend and suspend fresh webs of color joining near with not so near so I can call across the distance behind my eyes there's a dull shuffling outside I break my watch and burn the clocks to stay but the dark and damp corridors of my mind are waiting to spiral down and around in waves of gathering beggar's ticks growing into me to blind my eyes I place myself among my shells the silence swamps me in that space I try to find a trace of the taste that drew me in here so I can inch through this haze behind my eyes
9.
he twirled around like a merry-go-round he tripped the light fantastic he got caught in a fan
10.
every day I sweep the dust that gathers from the night before every day I see if I can ever see those wooden floors under the dust I see something and below that something else tired mornings finally end the world slows as the sun descends could we try to make amends before night into day bends under the dust I see something and below that something else layer under layer
